Chelsea Handler is the comedian, television host, and bestselling humorist that has managed to navigate the difficult waters that sink many female comedians before they get their first Comedy Central special. Handler now sells tickets to see perform standup and helps E! sell advertising time. Her odd view of the world around her began in 1975 in New Jersey when she was born to Jewish father and a Mormon mother. Chelsea was raised Jewish and noticed that though she lived in a nice Jewish neighborhood with luxury cars, she was being driven to school in a Pinto. Handler now sells tickets and is seen on television thanks in part to the alienation she felt.
